Is there any way of telling the resistor network value on a Difalco controller by looking at it?

Pull it out and turn it around, and look at the bottom for the network number.

78 ohm for higher power 1/24 scale motors.
148 ohm for lower power 1/24 scale motors.
They go higher from there for smaller motors.
