Douglas (Doug) Sides, owner of 3P Slot Car Raceway and hobby shop in Summerfield, NC, passed away suddenly on April 24. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Paschal Sides.
3P Slot Car Raceway hosted several MSSRA regional races; there was an MSSRA race planned for May 10, but it has been canceled.
In addition to slot car racing, Doug was an avid fisherman and he was a world-class boxer when he was in the Navy.
