Palouse Slots had their second race of the Spring / Summer series Saturday April 26th. We had 11 racers on the roster. It was a great summer day, and everyone was excited to get racing. We raced 4 classes Stock car, F-1, Can-AM, and Coupe. We alternated classes between both tracks.
First class up Stock car on the red track.
Despite a computer timing issue, mid racing, we managed to figure out how to make it right with the racers that were in that heat. Tom Sunday of Masters / Pasco took 1st place with 145 lamps followed by track owner Leroy Sanders of Palouse in 2nd with 144 laps. Robert Clements of Moscow Idaho managed to get 3rd place with 140 laps. Paul Dwyer of Spokane came in 4th with 131 laps.

Robert Clements of Moscow Idaho took first place with 114 laps. Paul Dwyer of Spokane came in 2nd with 108 laps. Track owner Leroy Sanders took 3rd with 106 laps. Tom Sunday of Masters / Pasco claiming 4th place with 103 laps.
We broke for lunch which consisted of ½ lb angus beef burgers, ranch beans, Macaroni and potato salad and chips. Desert was assorted ice cream bars.
Can-Am class was the starter after lunch.
John Wimett of Masters / Pasco had a rough first two classes and finally was able to stay clear of the mayhem and took first place with 143 laps with track owner Leroy Sanders in 2nd with 139 followed by Robert Clements of Mosco with 137 laps. Tom Sunday of Masters / Pasco in 4th 135.
Final class of the day Coupe
Track owner Leroy Sanders of Palouse took first place with 114 laps. John Matoon of Pullman Washington came in second with 112 laps. Again, John Wimett Masters / Pasco managed to stay clean and took 3rd place with 111 laps with fellow Masters / Pasco racer Tom Sunday in 4th 110 laps.
