This is from 1967.... I found this by searching on the Periscope Films site (the link is to the specific video)...
Little did I know that the way I drive slot cars translates to my attitude and skill driving the real thing. That explains why I have never driven a Ferrari, Chaparral, McLaren, or a Porsche: I must not drive the real thing like the slot cars I drove. I can't think of a Porsche that can be patched up with a soldering iron, staples and bit of tape.

I remember those days. Every Saturday night myself and my friends would all put our sport coats and ties on and go slot car racing.
