I have just finished assembling this Ferrari 312 F1.

It is a Truescale body mounted on a brass chassis.

I also machined the aluminum rims to make the car as low as possible.

Another of your very clean builds Regis. Outstanding body details. That's a nice brass chassis that you've built.

Beautiful classic F1 build. Both the body and chassis are so clean and nicely detailed it looks like it belongs in a 1960’s slot car magazine.

Super nice job Regis, :good: we have similar tastes.

I restored some similar Chris Amon Ferrari cars a short while ago. They were MESAC club cars, not sure if you saw them here on SB?

Because mine were restored cars I spruced up the Chris helmets as found only to be told that the red white blue stripe was back to front, and should be blue white red.  :wacko2:

I am not going to change mine as that's the way I found them. As long as you know you will be prepared  :victory:

Please don't change a thing, your build is just as a period F1 car should be IMO.

Nice build! I saw the full. size version of this car at the British GP at Silverstone in '67. That V12 sounded lovely!

Cheers,

John

Thank you all for your comments.

I have surely seen Martin, I look at the subjects which concern MESAC

John is a car to race in Bordeaux this year.

Are you coming this year, I remember you had a motorcycle accident while coming last year, I hope you are okay.

Tyers and rims have always been a major problem for me to find. Don't support you might have a set you'd like to sell(hint hint)?
Martin, I almost forgot about the Amon decals, you should have them next week...mabe sooner.

You have to search with the word urethane on ebay, or on google

I have the possibility of making my rims on my lathe, so I buy the tires and I make the rims.
