Unfortunately, no sound, but a really well-adjusted camera location.

The LapMaster live timing link is HERE. If you have the monitor for it, running the live stream on one side and the live timing alongside works well.

Don't know if these links will change every day, but I'll try to keep an eye on this thread and adjust them if necessary.

If you hit the livestream link (on an iPhone at least), you get the current livestream above the timing on the same screen.

Is there any place the public can see race results anywhere?  What organization runs the worlds and where can anyone find results (not on social media)? No race management screen shown on the livestream...?

Mark,

It's there, you just have to know how to find it.

Go to: https://portjeffrace...com/LiveTiming/

At the bottom of the page, click on the text circled in red below.

It'll take you a while to figure out what to view, but know that each 'race' generates four separate tables. The one you probably want is labeled 'Laps - Overall Best.' This data is output from the world-class LapMaster program, the gold standard of lap counting systems provding it is set up properly.

As to your question, "What organization runs the Worlds?", I have no idea.

Perhaps USRA picks up if there are more than one willing to organize. I suppose there aren't too many in the USA... ESROC in Europe and BSCRA in Brazil pick up their organizers.

Zipper,

I kinda think over here the Worlds is run by the individual raceway owners it is 'awarded' to. Don't recall the USRA being involved at all, certainly not in recent years.

Live camera is offline at this time. Guessing it will come back sooner or later today.

OK, the PJR webcam is back up, but it's misstitled as the 2025 Barnburner. The live timing shows that it's the TMO class qualifying that is being streamed.

The wing guys are pretty picky about the tracks they're willing to race on. You probably don't need all the fingers on one hand to list the raceways acceptable to them in the US...

Took a ride down today to check out the racing. Some great racing taking place and everyone is having a good time. Even caught Chubby and Lucas having a laugh or two during the A Main.

Congrats to Chubby on his world record TQ with a 1.430. Congrats to Andy Wasserman for his win and new world record lap total.

Cheater:

The long-standing policy on Slotblog has to NOT use nicknames in race results.  Yet, here, for the results of the Worlds, I see entries such as "Hercules" in the pro G7 open main?

Please.

As an ad hoc historian for big time slot car racing, can someone please tell me the name of this racer?

Also, I have yet to see any answer that makes any sense for what organization owns the so-called Worlds race? Is this a private clubby thing or is there some transparency that any interested slot car fan can be informed of or view on any manner of public forum?  Who decides things? How is the site selected and by whom? If it is all cloistered and private and then announced after the fact, then so noted. But I would appreciate hearing how it all works.

Thanks in advance.

Hercules is Tom Bisconi.

Cheers.

Can't say who decides in USA / North America, ESROC in Europe and BSCRA in Brazil pick up their organizers. It has been a long time tradition the Worlds will be organized every 3rd year in respective  regions / continents. (Our extinct club did it 2005, our now destroyed track Kouvola Blue King (pinterest.com)).
