Here’s the original cable slot car broadcast.
The race, including footage of me pitting the Semi-Pro winners car, also made it on our local ABC Sunday night sports show, probably based on them needing filler with the Indy 500 rained out on that Sunday.
Friends who worked second shift would tell me how they would see it frequently, at 2 or 3 in the morning.
The guy who set all this up for Jerry Kulich, John Myers, unfortunately died suddenly a few weeks ago.
