The 50th "Golden Anniversary" HOPRA slot car nationals are fast approaching! HOPRA began as the national organization for HO slot car racing in 1969 and has held their annual national championships since 1975.
 
The organization is run by the racers through an organizational structure that is transparent and been in place for decades. Leadership, nats site selection, rules and more are all governed by racer representatives.The organization is robust and healthy! National results are live-streamed, posted daily and easy to read. 50th HOPRA Nationals and Slot car Extravaganza
 
HO slot car racing is the real deal. The nationals feature multiple classes of racing over the week-long event, from non-magnetism to full bore unlimited racing. Regardless of class, if you are punched on any turn, you will deslot – actual driving of the slot car is required. Design, engineering, construction and in-race skills are off the charts!
 
The Nationals will likely be the largest slot car event in decades. Come to Auroa, OH, and join us this year! Founding fathers, past champions and all the current stars will be on hand.
