Thanks to you, our customers' increasing support and diehard loyalty through the years, Caveman Bodeez is at a crossroads in our business. In short, Mrs. Caveman and myself cannot keep up with the growing customer base and the increased orders that come with that.
Because of this, we have decided to take on a partner/ protege' to assist with the production part of the business. I would like to introduce you to Kevin Head.
I have been mentoring Kevin since last summer in preparation of this huge step. I am confident he is now capable of taking some of the work load from my shoulders. Kevin has some great ideas which we will be exploring in the coming year. Kevin also has better technical resources to take Caveman Bodeez to the next level in the future.
We will be making this transition beginning June 1, 2025. The website will be down for up to two weeks while we make changes and edit information for the nearly 600 products to calculate shipping and accept payment at the time you place your order. This will streamline the ordering process for you guys.
Additional contact information will be added or changed to reach either Kevin or myself. The new Caveman Bodeez phone number will be (828) 413-2248 to reach Kevin. If you wish to talk to me, then my number will remain the same that we have now (903) 574-8806. Email changes for direct contact for myself of Kevin will be coming at that time too.
During this same period, we will be moving the manufacturing equipment to Hickory, NC. I will spend a few weeks in North Carolina to make sure everything is up and running smoothly.
I ask for your continued support and a little understanding during the coming race season. Despite the previous months of instruction, Kevin still has a large learning curve ahead and will probably make a few mistakes along the way. Just please politely let him know and give him the opportunity to make things right. Our high standard and commitment to quality and customer service will remain the same.
I will still be involved in Caveman Bodeez and customers are encouraged to call me with questions or to just talk slot cars.
Now for some fun time! Because I will be in North Carolina, I will be attending the AWRA womp race at “The Track, Pawn & Hobby Raceway” in Valdese, NC, on Saturday, June 21. The classes being run will be "Legends," “Dirt Late Models,” and the “Legacy Beetles.” The complete rules can be found at the AWRA website.
The doors will open at 8 AM, with Tech at 10 AM.
I really want to thank everyone again for your cooperation and understanding during this adjustment period. We will do our best to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone.
