I've taken a look to see what ESC's are available for slot car use.

 

I've also learned that there are two types of brushless motors (BM) being produced;  Sensored and Sensorless.

 

The ESC boards I've seen available do not mention whether it is for use with either type of BM, so am I to presume that it does not matter what type of BM you use?

The motors we use are sensorless, the Sensored motors won’t work with the ESC’s available.
