  The 2025 Retro Western States is coming up at the end of next month and the dates will be July 24th through the 27th. Technically the LMP race on Thursday night is not a Retro race but is always well attended and kind of gets things started for the weekend.

 

   THURSDAY, July 24           LMP on the Flat track.  Tech inspection 6;30 PM

 

   FRIDAY, July 25                 SCRRA Retro Pro on the King track.  Tech inspection 6;30 PM

 

   SATURDAY  July 26           IRRA GT Coupe on the King track with tech inspection at 9 AM. No handout motors.

 

                                               IRRA Stockcar on the king track with tech inspection approximately one hour after the end of  the Coupe race.

 

                                               SCRRA Retro Coupe on the Flat track with tech inspection approximately one hour after the end of the Stockcar race.

 

   SUNDAY,  July 27              IRRA  F1 on the King track with tech inspection at about 9:30 AM.

                                               

                                              IRRA Can-Am on the King track with tech inspection approximately one hour after the end the F1 race.

                                              Can-Am will be a handout motor race using marked and numbered CR102's. 

                                              Racers may purchase as many as they want and motors can be bought on Saturday.

    The 2025 Retro Western States began Friday evening with SCRRA Retro Pro on the King track. 1st Place went to TQ Jeremy Marquette with Roy Lievanos 2nd, Jimmi Gonsalves 3rd and Charlie Nelson 4th.

  

   Todays action had 3 races on the schedule. IRRA GT Coupe on the King track had Sam Rackham 1st, Richard Curnutte 2nd, Bryan Warmack 3rd and Joe Chevy 4th.

 

   IRRA Stockcar on the King track saw Duran Trujillo run away from everyone to the win, with Sam Rackham 2nd, Bryan Warmack 3rd and Bill Vanderziel 4th.

  

   The last race of the day was the SCRRA Retro Anglewinder Coupes on the Flat track. A close race saw Bryan Warmack just edge Joe Chevy in 2nd with Dennis Samson 3rd and Charlie Nelson 4th.

 

  F1 and Can Am tomorrow......

      In the final races of the weekend, IRRA F1 and Can Am on the King track, Richard Curnutte continued his winning ways with a superb win to take top honors in F1! 2nd Place went to Sam Rackham with Mill Conroy 3rd and Bryan Warmack 4th.

 

  Can Am saw a newcomer to the Retro winners circle, with an awesome drive to 1st by TQ Roy Lievanos!  Congrats Roy!  Sam Rackham drove to a close 2nd with Mill and Bryan again 3rd and 4th.
