[Slot Car Rod]

I purchased a model car built by Erroll in 2022.  It is a model of one of my favorite cars, the Vice Grip Garage "Independence Chevelle." 

I converted the model into a slot car and wanted the slot car running gear to be all vintage.  A magnesium chassis and a Lenz rewound 36D motor were used.

I think the wheels are Dynamic brand.

 

The car really jumps off the line and is fast.  Also, no tilting in the turns.  A fun slot car.

 

 

I added some "rust".

Nice, I believe those wheels are Pactra/Competition. 

 

No wonder it jumps off the line with that "Big Block " Lenz in there.
