A turn of the century Ferrari 360 or 430 Spider.
It sounded great pulling away from the stop light.
I might try to catch the end of the Westmont car show tonight.
It should be a real hootenany.

They call them track days. The son of my old best friend and pit helper was recently to a track day sponsored by the company he works for. He is a geologist, and spends his days searching for oil deposits for his company. The company flew a bunch of top employees to Sonoma, where they were supplied with a fleet of Ferrari 196GTB's with competition driving instructors. He was through a driving school many years ago, but that was before marriage and kids. The kids are almost through with college, and his wife is a great gal. Maybe some racing can be in his future. I would sure miss being his head mechanic.
