Palouse Slots is having their fifth Retro race of the Spring/Summer series Saturday, July 26.

 

Practice starts a 9 AM, racing at 11 AM. Racing four classes, Stock Car, F1, Can-Am, and Coupe. We will be alternating classes between both tracks.

 

Some breakfast items and lunch will be provided to the racers.

With great regret, I will miss this month's race as well.  Missed the whole season so far.  I knew at the beginning that I would miss this one, because we are doing a cruise to Alaska with our grandson.  I still hope to make Aug and Sep,

 

Most of the races were a miss because of Mom.  She fell and was hospitalized in April, again in May, and a third time in June.  We went to CO each time.  Last time she broke her femur.  She is still in rehab.  It is likely that, at 92, she will not return home, and that is a great challenge.

 

Growing old is not for sissies.

 

It sounds like the racing has been great all summer.  I hope I can experience it before its over.
