The first race of the newly organized JK Indy Wide Racing League was held last Sunday on the Piranha Flat track with a very robust turnout of 27 racers! The JK Products Indy Wide cars were great right out of the box and provided even newcomers to the difficult flat track a good handling car without deslotting every lap....and the well prepped cars were awesome!
And they look great too!...
The results were...
Multiple races were run and the laps were all combined at the end. Duran Trujillo slowly pulled away to the win and a great battle for the final podium spots with Dennis Samson 2nd and Vic Dubrowsky 3rd.
The brushless DTM race followed and drew another large field of 20 racers! Duran Trujillo and Dennis Samson once again took the top 2 spots followed by Dave Barry in 3rd. Sorry, no pic of the results...
Starting next month these races, JK Indy wide and brushless DTM will be on the Piranha Speedway racing calender and will be run on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Check out the Piranha web site for more info.
