Hi fellas, just built this old hot rod from nos parts. Chassis is a Dynamic, Strombecker motor, various front and rear wheels and tires (mag inserts by Strombecker??), factory painted body. Anyone know the name and maker of this body? I suspect it is by International Engineering. Only the guide flag and braids are modern, to be replaced when i pick up some more vintage guides. Runs good on my practice track, and will make it's debut at The Race Place next Saturday for a fun day of vintage club racing. Now to find a rat rodding hot rod driver figure.....Hope you enjoy :D

Glenn, great vintage "look". This thing is just dying for some bare metal foil and some flat black paint in the necessary areas especially behind those Strombecker inserts! :) I have some vintage skull decals that would look just right on this car. I will send them to you if you wish. Joe

Both these cars look pretty neat! Glenn, when Low finds his motor, you need to challenge him to a race. :laugh2:

Hi Steve, cool hot rod! Can't race yours, as you have a modern motor, mine is strictly a 1960's bomb (using 1960's slot car talk!).....

Hi Joe, i'll take those decals! Pm me for my address, thanks!! that's why i luv this hobby, so many cool slot heads out there!!! :D

Nice combo Glenn, 704 I believe? Great frame Steve. (slip in an old Monogram '16' can and it will compete just right.)

A couple more of the same genre to fill in. Both rather bargain ebay, as-founds.

Dynamic frame and a green hornet(?) 36D, it runs really well. Made a brief appearance at the Race Place.

Not run yet, as it need lots of 'sorting out'. All Kemtron underneath with bevel gears. BB front wheels. Painted in those yearly 60's Hot Rod / Custom colors. When ready, it will be perfect to run against Glenn's. But I suspect not the winner.
