Now, for the really cool part: the last place on the combined results podium is being decided by a two-heat Chicago-style shootout between Jay Guard and Chuck Gambo, who both finished with 240 laps at the same point on the track and too close to call.
Each driver picked a lane to run and after the first three-minute heat, they will swap lanes and race for another three-minute heat. The winner of the shootout will be awarded third place. Chuck picked purple and Jay picked blue. After the first heat, the racers will swap lanes.
The two drivers are warming up now...
After two heats of shootout, Chuck Gambo finishes first with (we think) 64 laps to Jay's 63 and is thus awarded third and a place on the podium. Jay Guard earns fourth place in the final standings.
Final combined results shortly...
Sorry for the delay. I had to take pictures for Can-Am on the King before I could combine the three race results. It also took a few minutes to resolve the various finishes on the same lap.

Swiss called it a tie, based on marked positions from both races. If it ends up being critical for the podium, he's thinking of having a two heat run-off between Jay and Chuck to decide the placings.

We'll see how it plays out. Sano Dave and the amazing Howie Ursaner are in the third F1/Flat track race and they may just demolish the lap totals from the first two races.

If you can on each final race result of all the racers (just for each of the five main races) put the state of each of the top ten finishers so we know where they are from.
Gives us an idea of who the people we don't know are.

I am trying to post a mug shot for every racer at the Sano and when I have the info, I include hometown.
Quote honestly, with the number of attendees and the pace of the event, I am running to keep up and am a little behind on the last batch of racer pics.

Just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work. Without your dedication, there might not be such good reporting.
I was amazed at how much you ran around last night at during the JK Spec race posting results, taking pictures, and even listening to me. I wish I could be there for the remainder, but cannot due to other commitments.
Good luck to all the racers.

The shelves from Swiss' innovative car line-up "box"can be removed and transported to other locations. Here they are sitting on the flat track.
Fi concours winner: Joe "Noose" Neumeister, what a surprise...
Note that the awards sponsor is listed on the plaques to the left of the raceway name. Tex Hofer sponsored this plaque.
