All of us who "watched" Da Sano II unfold here on Slotblog over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday owe a big round of applause to Greg "Cheater" Wells, Eddy "Mac" MacDonald, and Shontel Howard for their efforts in bringing us the "almost-live' race reports, pictures, and videos.

THANKS :D :D we really appreciate you making this happen!!!

Come on, guys... 50 views and only one "Ditto"??? Do what your Momma taught you and say thank you or you may be left in the dark for Da Sano III.

Don,

This is my first view and of course a post.

As one that does much of what these fine folks are doing from "Da Sano II", I fully understand all the work that is being done by each and every one of them. I for one applaud all the work that is going into providing us an almost live coverage from this premier event.

Now, how about posting some video?

Many thanks to those who provided all of the coverage from Chicago! It had to be difficult to do while attempting to compete as well, and I sincerely appreciate all of your efforts. Great job!

Thank you for doing an outstanding job for us at the race as well as for those not at the race.

It was a pleasure meeting all of you.

Shontel Howard started posting videos on Friday night. Go HERE

Next year we will probably do a webcam broadcast. We just need to figure out a good way to do it.

I've watched one recently from a big slot race and IMHO the live coverage from Cheater is a lot more worthwhile.

Many thanks to Mac and Shontel, you were all great. :clapping:

I had tried videotaping the last two weeks during races in Dallas. It's really hard to get the entire track in the frame from any vantage point. I also tried the tripod in front of a monitor to record the race. You can see fast time/slow times/lap by lap action.

I had hoped to do this at the Sano but there was no monitor in an approprite place for the camera. With some planning, I think it would be great to do a live or almost-live feed of the races.

For those of you that couldn't make the Sano II... you missed a great weekend of racing with great racers. Everyone there loves slot racing. Mike, Jackie, and Ray did a fabulous job in every way. The Dallas racers will be back for the Sano III.

Butch,

I was lookin' for ya, buddy! Sorry you couldn't make it. Had a great time.

Thanks to Mike and the IRRA for throwing the shindig.

Something un-expected came up and just couldn't make it, Tex.

Lucky for Sano Dave though, I'd a kicked his butt. :aggressive: I did it again just last night right before I woke up. :laugh2: ;)
