Thank you, Niels. I was planning on doing the RC Cola one next. Soon as Victor wakes up from his winter slumber and starts making bodies again.

Finished up some more racing shells for the locals.
This time two Lancer Petg bodies by Victor @ True Scale. Ferrari 330 P4 Le Mans Coupe and Spyder.
Nothing added, just paint. Headlight buckets exhaust tips, shifter and gauge decals would all be great... but these are suppose to be cheap quick jobs and one can get bogged down with the detials. Right?

Finished a few more lately. The first is a Choti for a local Slotblog member. Hope he doesn't mind my showing it.
The other two were produced for the local Retro racing club. Both bodies are by TrueScale and both cars raced at Riverside in 1966.

Finished another one yesterday for Slot Blog.net member Don Weaver.
The body is a GTC Gulf Mirage which was originally a Dynamic body.
The chassis is hand made by Don and I'll let him tell you the details.
The paint is a mix of "Sundance" designs as was requested by the customer.
Have a great Monday fellow slotters.

I really like the scheme on the Truescale Ford Mirage (it looks like) - I have found that to be a pretty OK racing body. You can sure tell which way that car is going! Nicely done!
Sorry about the nerf. "Sorry? Sorry? There's no apologizing in slot car racing!"

A.J., it is a Truescale Mirage - good eye! Jairus captured the looks of the original Sundance paint scheme which is what I was hoping for. Anyone who sees it will recognize it's heritage. Notice the motor showing through the rear window - what detail! Many thanks, Jairus.

Well, my Sundance (Version 3.0) arrived today and boy are they right when they say it looks soooo much better in person than in pictures. Absolutely spectacular!! It's going into my lawyer's bookcase display cabinet after a couple of laps around our club track and maybe the chassis too. The guys almost didn't let me take it home tonight. Thanks Jairus, you captured exactly what I was looking for - a body with the same DNA as the original Sundance car but special in its own right. Many thanks.....

I admit to being one of those guys who wanted to take it home last night.
Beautiful job, Jairus. Truly stunning.

Finished a few more bodies that you guys might find interesting.
The first one was for Martin who posted above. We worked together on line and over the phone getting the details as close to what we felt the body Bob Emott might have had on his car at Tottenham.
These two were painted as a surprise for John Cukras last winter before the Checkpoint race. John used the Can Am body but I didn't see if he showed the GP. Suspect I might have been a little risqué with that one. Still, he could've swapped the interior. Personally, I think he hung it on the wall.

I don't paint a lot of racing bodies. But when I do, I tend to get creative.
Remember, these will probably get torn up due to the two drivers that are running them.
First up are two for John Cukras.
These two are for my good friend Nesta who is banned from this forum unfortunately.
Kind of went over the top and didn't quite catch the correct colors on the Benetton car.
But what the heck, he's going to tear it up anyway.
Note: All are painted with the last of my Pactra lacquers, hand lettered with my now shaking hands using One-Shot.
This cannot go forever...
Respectfully submitted.

Finished a couple more today.
This is for a friend and the body is 1/32nd scale so... harder to paint.
(The news sucks so listening to music on my iTunes. So much better!)
This one looks like a re-do of one I did for Nesta.
But I like it so much that decided to do another for eBay and see what it could bring.
Pop it up in a day or two.
Title is: Tits, tye-dye, Superfly!
Body is an O.S. Ti22 in .007.

Adding a few more for posterity sake.
Markos Mantis for a customer who thought the cars were made of wood.
Well, the monocoque chassis was but the body work was all fiberglass.
Still, it was fun to do if a bit time consuming.
Taking suggestions for the second Markos body....
This one for Pablo's Ultra Thingy.
And this was a hardbody paintjob on a Revell Cobra roadster.

Jairus,
Wow, really cool stuff ! I like the different styles that you use for the cars ... tie-dyed, fogged, wood grain and the lettering.
