Hi

First saw the "torsion" out of england in the late 70s. My pen pals in ECRA Peter Crane and Ian Jensen sent me stuff all about it.

I have been using it since. Some rules with hinge limits don't allow it these days. And, I prefer to have it as an addition to a traditional side rail frame approach rather than a stand alone apprach.

Thanks.
Both chassis run completely well. With the one I a Body out lexan blocked, runs super. I can compare it however only with available chassis, since hardly one builds here. Second I under my Mustang GTO built. It acts around a Revell kit, with driver and everything. There am I not completely safe me whether it is too little rigid possibly and too much in itself moved? Has in addition who more experiences?

Most people who scratchbuild do a torsion rail chassis if allowed. They have better exit speed than a non pivot chassis. You can "tune" the chassis by changing rail diameter and length.

Nice chassis Geb! These are a couple of 1/32 torsion bar chassis I built. The first one is a sidewinder that has .032" thick pans but was to have a thick piece of brass mounted loosely in the center section except that I couldn't figure out how to do it ...until Mike Steube did the same thing on one of his early F1 scratchbuilts...but now I'm too busy...hey this is a long sentence.

Below is another torsion bar chassis but this time an anglewinder with thick pans and nothing in the middle.

A construction article on a 1/24 scale torsion bar Scale chassis is Over Here..? because it's kind of long to post here.

Hi Gebi, :)
