We've noticed a trend lately of Slotblog members going WAY overboard on font and signature sizes and regrettably we must now establish some official limitations on these.
In the past, Slotblog has had a private and unofficial font size limitation and now we're making it public and official.
Font size tags at Slotblog must be kept to [size=4] or smaller. Specifying larger font sizes adds nothing to the amount of emphasis granted by [size=4]. Posters who insist on using font sizes larger than [size=4] will initially have their posts and sigs edited to bring the size tags down to that limitation. Members continuing the use of over-limit font sizes after being warned may have their posting privileges restricted or removed.
We have also seen some Slotblog signatures grow to silly sizes. Slotblog signatures are now limited to a height of 1-1/2 inches when displayed at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. This is a fairly generous signature size and shouldn't unduly restrict a member who wants to get creative with their sig. As many will know, signature size restrictions are fairly commonly imposed on many internet boards.
If you have any question regarding the size of your Slotblog signature, PM me for my opinion.
It had been hoped not to have to impose these sorts of restrictions but due to the number of complaints received from the membership, it is time to do so.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

I will allow larger signatures if the culprit contributes 50 bucks a year to the cost of running this nuthouse.

I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.

Just wanted to mention that about a half a dozen Slotblog members who had not complied with the signature sizes imposed in the first post in the thread have had their sigs edited to bring into compliance with our requirements.
If you signature has shrunk, that's why.
