After lots of drama. We can finally lay this baby to rest and get down to the fun of playing with our toys.

It's gonna be a long season crammed into a short amount of time so boys and any girls that may be out there get your running shoes on.

All IRRA rules will be followed: So no foil seal Pro Slot motors, and by January's race your NASCAR better be an "Inline" design.

There is a Traveling "Tech Nazi" who graciously volunteered. Thank you in advance Mr. Jeff Little from the South Washington PA chapter of Penn-Ohio.

The Tracks on the series are vastly different and shall prove to challenge most everyone's ability, as we will see the series travel to 5 tracks for 9 (2 flat, 1 American King, 2 Hill climbs)events and then an Awards Banquet in May.

Classes are: Can-Am, Flexi-GT, F1, and NASCAR.

A $10 pit pass will be charged to the racer and each class is $7.

Tracks open at 8 am on day of race, Tech opens at 10 am and closes at 10:30 am sharp.

Class running order is as follows: Flexi GT, Can-Am, F-1, Retro Stockcar.

So here are the dates and tracks:(Sub forums to follow for each one)

Sept. 12th Fatboys Raceway, Mansfield OH

Oct. 3rd HMS Speedway, Bellevue, OH

Oct. 24th Bristolville Center Raceway, Bristolville, OH

Nov. 28th Washington Slotcar Raceway, Houston, PA

Dec. 12th Route 93 Raceway, Akron, OH

Jan. 9th Washington Slotcar Raceway, Houston, PA

Feb. 27th Fatboys Raceway, Mansfield OH

Mar. 27th Route 93 Raceway, Akron, OH

Apr. 24th Bristolville Center Raceway, Bristolville, OH "Final Race and Banquet"

So there it is in a nutshell ladies and gents. Any questions, PM myself or the track owners.

Some day this will be fun again. Right???

Not stirring any pots, but are any "subsets" of these rules going to be used??? Such as Falcon only at any tracks? Just trying to get a heads up!!!

Thanx for sticking to your guns!

I do not believe so. But about the only track the Pro Slot would help on IMO is Rt. 93. We already know you can't gear it down to run on Bristolville, the new mostly-flat Hillclimb at HMS is only 105' in length, and the UK Black at South Washington is shorter than Bristolville so I don't know if you can get on to run there either.

I will defer the official answer to this question to Mr. Brian Cox of Fat Boys Raceway though, as I had to leave early yesterday.

DH,

Please refer to the set of rules that I handed your father (Frank E. of Rt.93) personally at the meeting. There will be "NO" sub-sets.

We're here to have fun now :D .

Thank you,

The Can Am could be going a bit better. lol I've had to completely tear it down and start fresh, but I should be getting in some piano wire soon enough. To be honest, it's pretty tempting at this point to shelve my highly experimental hybrid ex-wing design and purchase an R-Geo kit.

kit cars are nice, easy to put together and generally run really good any way you build it. my jk kit runs better than anything i've built or had built for me...i'm really wanting to build a FX kit but might have to settle for the slick7
