Rob Hanson, Bill Worden, Paul Wolcott (Pablo) and myself will be teaming up to raffle off a complete TriPod car at the Sano with a custom painted body of the winner's choice.

I will be selling the raffle tickets for $5 each or 5 for $20

In addition I have advised Mike Swiss I will be donating 3 painted bodies to be raffled off at random and the winners will get to choose a retro body of their choice to be done.

Since I will have enough to do, I only planned on selling the tickets at the Sano starting on Friday and ending on Sunday.

Since the winner doesn't need to be present to win, I will personally mail off the winner of the Tripod car if they aren't present.

What about those of us that would like to contribute, and maybe win something? I never subscribed to PayPal because, with dial-up service, by the time the page loads on Ebay, the auction's over :D . I would like to enter this, though. Any ideas?

I'm very sorry to announce that I will not be able to continue to accept PayPal transactions for the Sano Raffle. Its seems that I am violating some type of rules regarding Charity's. I now have to look and see the exact thread that is violating their policy and delete it so I can reopen my account. Three folks have made purchases so far. I will make sure that they get tickets.

Please do not send anymore raffle tickets to my PayPal account

Good point Mike. Would like to donate and maybe win something can we send a money order to buy some tickets? :) Jerry

Ray, nothing beats a 5 dollar bill in and envelope. :laugh2: :laugh2:

My preference was to manage the raffle electronically, but that evidently ended today?

For those who can't attend the Sano, but would still like a chance to win the only option left seams to be good old USPS mail.

If you would like raffle tickets please send a check or money order made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Remember $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20

Please mail it by Saturday October 10, 2009. Please include your name, Slotblog user name so I can PM you if you win, an return address so the car can be mailed to you if you win

To:
Rob Hanson
PO Box 41
Somonauk, IL 60552
Attn: Sano III

I'm asking for the October 10 deadline, because starting Thursday October 15 morning I will be staying at my mother-in-laws house and wont be able to check my mail.

Please PM me if you are sending money, so I can look out for it in the mail.
In addition I will post an excel sheet similar to this, but without peoples addresses when I receive any funds.

BTW: As appealing as Ricks suggestion is, please don't send me cash

After the Sano III, I will just put all the checks/money orders in an envelope and mail it off

There is a good thing going on here. I would like to add some stuff for this raffle.

Although this is probably not the most useful tool for retro racing, I would like to give it for the raffle.

This is one of a kind magnet matcher and gauss meter and this model is not for sale.
It has a wand to measure the magnets inside the can, and it can also be used in "Trik Trax" style, puting the magnet on top of the box. Wand readings are in Gauss. Box reading are reference numbers.

I have put a customized logo on it. I hope you guys like it. I will be bringing it with me the first day of racing.

Winner of the Pablo built Tripod chassis with a custom painted Noose body of his choice is:

Brandon Radcliffe :clapping:

Brandon was also the winner of a Samurai II chassis plate donated by R-Geo Rick.

Brandon was one of the slotblog members who couldn't attend the Sano but sent in their money for raffle tickets.
