This was the best race of the weekend. Ken Swanson was on fire! A fitting end to Sano III.

You guys who passed on this year's Sano really need to put next year's event on your schedule as soon as Mike Swiss announces the date!

Ken was outstanding... drove the best race I have ever seen him run. He was untouchable and unstoppable. I gave him all I could and he made no mistakes the entire race.

Larry, don't worry, Ken did a little thrashing at the Sano. Seem to remember him re-building Mike's perfectly good F1 chassis that he raced at last year's Sano just minutes before the F1 flat track race.

Good job, Ken and Ron. You both put on a great show. Ken was in the groove and just didn't make any big mistakes that anyone could capitalize on.

Ken drove almost a perfect race. As far as I know all he had was two-three small deslots on black.
He ran two 38s, four 37s, a 36 on yellow (after he finished his heat on black right after the lap counter), and 34 on black.

Before the race, I thought the winner might hit 290 laps. Kenny went 294. A "perfect" run would have been about 296.

Anyway, Kenny, along with driving great, tuned on his car until it was superb.

Those pics are coming. Bill Fulmer took them for me and we transferred the contents of his three SD cards to a flash drive that came home with me. He took over 500 pics and it'll take me a few days to crop, edit, adjust, and post them.

I'll bet you're impatient like my 100-year-old granddad, who says he prefers his own three-day pickle recipe over someone's else eight-day recipe, because the odds are better that he'll be around to eat 'em!
