This car is something that my dad had back then, did they ever make a slot car of this model? If you got one let me know.
I really would like to get one, maybe it will never happen but I guess I could ask?

I think Strombecker and K&B made it in 1/32.
Are these the right one?
Here is a Strombecker on ebay at the moment, albeit with chopped rear arches.

They seem to come up fairly regularly, and not too spensive.

Nesta,
Happy to help if and where possible.
There is a resin kit here, but its a bit pricey @ $38.00.
I'll keep an eye open as I like the little buggers too.

Not overly thrilled about them. 1968 SS Hemi car would be better or even better would be 1970 or 1971

I guess if you insist on doing one than you could do a 43jr?

Nesta,
In these days, E-Pay is IT. Search it on a weekly basis and stay at it, and you will find one. It probably won't be in a box like the one above because such mint kits are rather scarce, but there are plenty of loose examples. They came with at least 3 different chassis, the most desirable being a 2-piece brass job with a TC32 motor, a chromed can with blue endbell. :)

I'm wondering exactally what scale they are as it says -
Just about O-Gauge, this could easily become a 1/32 to 1/43 scale Slot Car.

Looks like he has 8 on hand. Is this the one you bought?

It isn't a '65 it says that they are 1964. I don't recall if the grill and tail lights are different in them. I know that the 65 and 66 are different.

Nesta, that looks good, but keep in mind that it's probably 1:43 scale going by their description;
"Inside Dimension (ID) of the body is 4 & 1/8 inches by 1 & 1/2 inches (4 1/8" x 1 1/2".)"

My rough K&B one is 5-3/16" x 1-7/8".

Steve all I can say is OPS..but I think you are right. :laugh2: Not that much for a chance to get a Cuda to make a 1:32 race car.
Hopefully I get lucky next time?
Yes the 1966 Cuda had a flat grill and square bottom taillights, 65 had round bottom taillights and the front grill was curved if I remember right?

Just cut that bad boy apart and section it, do the usual Nesta IMSA flare touch and you'll have the scale you want.
