Hallo!
Just wanted to push back the 1/43 section back in your mind....
My next restauration object is an old Jouef Carabo Bertone:
I will keep you informed....
Regards
Zippo
P.S.: Still interested in vintage 1/43 (O-Gauge) slot car pics, informations and histories....

Hi Zippo,
The correct name is Alfa Romeo "Carabo", design by Bertone Studios.
Nice car that created waves and generated a whole new school of styling in the 1970's.

What do you expect from the French? They were building Panhards when the Alfa Carabo was being built!

Might have been futuristic, but in 1969, a car should do better than zero to sixty in 23 seconds...
Hence, low sales and bankruptcy. The age of the flat-twin Tiger motor had gone. It was not tiger, it was a tiger cub.

The styling style was called "The Shear Look" by the way! First American car to be designed thus was the Cadillac Seville in '76!
