Today reading the forum I find a user whose avatar is Rat Fink (sportblazer350). It's the same piece from a keyring that I used to make one of my first S&B time ago. I always feel fascinated by Ed Roth and Rat Fink is one of my icons. As the old 1/24 Revell Lotus with Rat Fink on is an expensive models I decided to make my own car.

I used a F1 from the German old brand Stabo. Here is the original car.

After a cleaning session I put some decals from Pattosplace, a big fin, and of course a Rat Fink taken from a simply keyring. With a customized box the result was quite good:

Love it! The iron cross on the spoiler is a nice touch.

In this bright future you can't forget your past.

United we stand and divided we fall, the Legends are complete.
I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.

Pistol Pete you will always be in my memory.

I remember when the 1/24 cars could be bought brand new at just about any raceway or dept. store. There were several different monsters to choose from if I remember right. Mr. Gasser comes to mind.

That is a neat idea to scale it down to 1/32. Gives those older cars new life. :D

The more I think about it, the more I want to put one of these little Rat Fink's behind the wheel of one of my Cox BRM's!

...what? That would be too much green ya think?
