The Inaugural Checkpoint Cup had about 60 racers who participated in up to 6 races (including the IROC).

The 2nd Annual Checkpoint is expected to have fewer total participants (due to various reasons, the economy mainly).

For the 2010 races, Greg Wells and Jay Guard will be participating. Herman James will be racing. Mike Morrissey and Fred (Ken) Larimer are expected to be present. We will even have a slotracer from Japan attending (Haruki Kan from Tokyo, Japan). Haruki is a fan of American slotcar racing and is excited to have the opportunity to meet many of the big names from the 60's as well as the many other racers at BPR.

Here's last years (2009) Checkpoint list of racers "expected" to race. How many do you think will show up for the 2010 races?
There are 70 racers (not counting those with an asterisk) listed below, of which 60 actually participated. Looking at his list, I think there's a good chance we will have 60 participants again for the 2010 race.
