This was the best one yet for me guys, Howie and Gorski doing what they do best. We got some great interviews by Howie and Gorski and Mill C, and Phil N.
Also it was a great honor to get a interview by Mr. Jet and Pete Zimmerman, I guess even a dog like me get lucky sometimes?
The bad news is I'm back on the BLOG.
Sure missed Da Goat and Mike S.
Have a gut feeling this guys will be back in the future.
So know we have some great interviews by Howie and let me tell you he is way Sano. I even meet my BUD Cheater and he had a blast, I think he likes me?
Still coming down to this planet, what a ride it was way cool. There will be some film clips coming soon.
Thanks to the guys doing the interview and we are still smiling.
Nesta

In this bright future you can't forget your past.
BMW (Bob Marley and the Wailers)
United we stand and divided we fall, the Legends are complete.
I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.
Pistol Pete you will always be in my memory.

Well, Nesta is correct... ( & how many times will I EVER say THAT??? ) .....
I was privledged to enjoy three days of great racing, great racers, excellent food, & non-stop insanity...
Sure, we'd have enjoyed a "larger" turn-out... But in truth, we were able to satisfy everyone's need for D3 racing, w/ plenty of time available for visiting w/ old friends, making new ones, & extensively compeditive bench-racing! ... Getting to meet a few of the fellas who we read about often ( thank you, Gus, Greg & Jay...) , & seeing old friends from last year's madness ( thank you, Dave & Roger ) made the whole experience very special...
Many times during the extended weekend, I had several racers comment on the atmosphere surrounding our extended family here in Los Angeles, in SoCal D3... " Boy, you guys race clean" ... "These cars are awesome!"... "I'd never have believed I could race these & have so much fun!"... " I can tell people are serious, trying for the move-up, but I haven't heard a bad comment directed at one single individual from ANYONE!" ...
"How do you guys do it? "
Well, the answer is as simple as refering to the only two words that mean anything here in SoCal, concerning D3...
Those two words ??
" Let's race! "
I'd be hard-pressed to find a more dedicated group of enthusiasts, anywhere, that love slot racing more than the group of guys I'm privledged to call "my friends" in D3 here in Los Angeles... We all remember how it was, then... We all know how we'd like it to be, now... &... we all know how we'd like it to be, tomorrow... If by our actions we can continue the tradition of fellowship & goodwill that has become the cornerstone of D3 racing here in Southern California, then we've done the job we set out to do... We wanted to re-create the cars of the past, & insure that slot racing could survive for generations to come... We'll keep "tweaking" the rules to insure that everyone can participate, & feel included in the process of compeditive D3 retro-inspired racing... Hey, once you've experienced this first-hand, it's like a drug... So d*mn addictive, you NEVER wanna stop!
Great job, Keith, Paul, Barney, Bob, & the rest of the D3 heirarchy... It was VERY sano !!
Personally, a HUGE "thank you" to my Zombie teamates Ron Kiyomura, Jeff Bell, Nesta Szabo, & Kathy Mitome... Boy, we had a blast, didn't we??? Remember.... "Humans... the "other" white meat! "
Here we go, starting-off Twenty-ten w/ a BANG!!!!
" Let's race! "

Jeff you sure are a great man to put things in perspective and a very good soul, I could never said what you did know, so I guess I have to read it twice because
it was nice.
Love all of the guys that I meet at the race this weekend and IT WAS A BLAST thanks for having me there.
Sure wish these could go on for ever, and it was way cool and thanks to the three Jeff's South and North and my main man Ron K. who looked after my needs during the race I was involved in (way to many good racers at BP) but it was way cool, thanks Ron for looking after me and giving me advice,
also Ron is a Killer chassis builder, if I got one of his chassis I might have even done better, sorry Ron the cat is out of the bag now.
See you all soon.
Nesta
Sorry one more thing for me to say is that I was so glad to see Mr.C back to see us doing what we do and I hope later this year we will have him back and
Mike S. and my special friend Da Goat, hope this year will bring us all of you fallen hero's back to the stage because I sure miss ya all. The deck is not full
without you.
