When I think about a race car I have to think what makes the car looking like a race car and that's hard of course if you are in the history department then it's
easy. :laugh2:
Just copy the original and you are done, but really who do you look at colors, because it's really hard to make them racy looking? :shok:
I been trying greens but that's hard to make because they look OK but not, I find contrast works the best. ;)

In this bright future you can't forget your past.
BMW (Bob Marley and the Wailers)

United we stand and divided we fall, the Legends are complete.
I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.

Pistol Pete you will always be in my memory.

When I paint, I don't try to make them look like race cars. I try to make them look like something I can see out on the track. Usually this will be two contrasting colors with one of them being white or yellow. But then there was the metallic blue & fluorescent orange Monte Carlo I painted for the local hillclimb. :laugh2:

I know I won't race a green car again because at the Checkpoint F1 race there was at least three cars coning into the doughnut and I lost my car? :laugh2: :laugh2: Time for some vibrant colors for me so I can see it. :shok:

I like the all white ones with a sponsor wanted sign.

Nesta the only question you have to ask yourself is..... "does this color make my car look fat?"
