It's much better than just "shiny". Did YOU build the suspension? Where did you get the tranny? Where did you get the exhaust "snakes"? I love the screen in the front air intake. Is that screen made from the same material as that used on top of the engine cover? Where'd you get it? You know me, I'm always lookin' for detail stuff.
Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

You sure blow my mind, great as always, have to say I been staring at it for a long time to see all the details you put in. One thing I wish I could do is
painting the little drivers, I always hate that part, sure would love to see how that is done?
I'm in the process of painting one of this little driver guys and I don't want to get started.

...And in 1963, Roy Salvadori at Monaco in 1963:

I think that photo of Salvadori should be 1962, he did not drive the '63 Monaco GP and Surtees was at Ferrari by then, although he did drive the Lola again later in the year at a non-championship race in South Africa.
Also, no offense meant to anyone, this is a spectacular model, but:
Surtees' car at Monaco in 1962 was #28, with the short nose, presumably, although I can't find a nice photo yet. Surtees ran #19 in Holland, but I think that was with the regular length nose.
And if it's supposed to be Big John in this car, surely his helmet was white not silver?

Your right - this should have had a long nose - I screwed up on this one. I should have spotted that.
Thanks for the compliments and from everybody else.

This is one of the most beautiful slot cars I ever seen! Personally, I could'nt care less if it's correct or not!
