So, how do you hold he body? With the hand or any holding device?
My thinking is to avoid to get paint at the hand since the lacquer is harder to remove than the water based ones?

I hold it in my hand but I wear gloves on both hands and mask.
I wear gloves on hands but not on the mask: the fingers kept inflating when I exhaled, making a very disturbing sight for anybody nearby. The un-gloved mask seems to work well enough for me.

How quick with the next layer of spray?
The first should be a mist layer. It should dry pretty quickly. The next are light coats too and they usually dry with a minute or two. I use a dual action airbrush so I can also just spray air at the paint and help it dry faster.

I have been painting interiors but I can't seem to get the amount of detail you do all I have done is painted them from the inside.
They turnout nice but I just can't get the detail.
Thanks Danny

Everything is painted outside.
Should you not at least have some kind of a shed with this crummy weather?

So, With that being said, ( I'm also sure this has been asked the question before) What is your paint of choice for your detail work? Would it be One Shot?
Thanks for your reply!...................Slot on! .......................Big John

Which type of 1 shot colour are you using?
Are your fine writing/lettering done by airbrush or a fine paintbrush? Freehand or masks?
Lastly the fine lines between fields are they masked with thin tape?
Happy for your answers!

Hi again,
Which type of 1 shot colour are you using? They are all the same and call 1 Shot Professional Enamels
Are your fine writing/lettering done by airbrush or a fine paintbrush? Freehand or masks? All lettering is done with a fine brush freehand
Lastly the fine lines between fields are they masked with thin tape? All are hand done with a fine brush and pin striped on.
Happy for your answers!
