The Stock Car body is a Parma Cyclone.  The OS Torino is exactly like it too.

I just finished these for a retired NY Firefighter now living in Colorado. For those that don't know, "323" is the number of fire fighters that gave their lives on 9/11.

My wife Robin's a painter, & when we met in '06 she graciously offered me a canvas - I was drawn to a somber, turbulent one (she's sorta abstract expressionist, for you Arteriorata types) in roiling blacks and reds, markedly darker and more strident than the other subtle works; and she told me it was the product of her first night back in the studio after 9/11.

 

I just called her to look over my shoulder here, saying these were for a retired fireman, and - and she instantly interrupted with "Jeezus, yes, I know, and 323's for - God, look at what he's done in those gray panels!..."

 

Powerful stuff, still.
