Hi all,

This is a great site.

I could use some help if any one can tell me what or who made the body on the right.

Thanks for the help.

Peace,

Dave,

This is one of about a half-dozen copies of the original Classic Manta Ray body made in the day. The copies were sold either as a body kit, clear or painted, or as complete cars such as the "Stinger" sold by Discount Hobby Distributors if I recall correctly.

There are about six variations from the original that I have identified so far.

Regards,

Philippe de Lespinay

Dave, very nice! We have the motors at the LASCM in their original packing. These were produced before Bob was hired by George and Ron Mura and joined them.

Way Cool Frank, love them both :good: :good:

Dave, I do not have an original 60's Onewinger :shok: The only one I ever saw was on e-bay a few years ago and it was brought by ED ? The wing was broken on it. I original made this body for a Mr Dave Larson. Who described it to me and He had run them back in the 60's. I've only seen the Onewinger in an ad for Choti bodies back in the day.
