I always been amazed with the racers when they arrive to the track, they sure have a lot of stuff? :o Then I looked at my box? :shok: :laugh2: So I bought one from JK little bit bigger. This is what I have now. :)

Sweet, wait to you see the inside.

Lots of space, the only guy that travels lighter then me is Terry S. :D The new one is little bit bigger then this, I might be able to
fit some refreshment?

Nice! Nesta...now you are a pro for sure.
I am still using plastic bins ( urgh !)

I see your third eye.. a couple of guys here have fitted twin fans to the heat sink of that model controller for cooler running when using S16D motors.

I've had the same box for over five years & it's worked fine for me.

Nesta, you have to organize your box a little better. Here you have six cars, four spare motors, six tires & three parts boxes with more motors, gears, pinions, guide flags & more. My soldering iron, power strip, work light & other essentials are in a small tool bag. That is all I carry to the races, the only other thing I might bring is my mini-folding chair. Great for the deadman or any place you have to knead at.

Thanks Vic, lets put it this way that box is easy to log around, and it takes a minimum space which I like.
But I can not fit my wine bottle and ice and the corkscrew in it and that's a problem for me.
My new box is a bit larger and I can easily put my ice and bottle in there with out others noticing what I brought in? :laugh2:
Got pics of what you are dragging around?

JK got me my new box today and I'm so happy about it. ;) Mike Crone you will get my art box now, :) because my stuff have a new place to live in
and I'm stoked about it, I have to say that the JK is a pleasure to deal with, thanks Jerry and his lovely wife. :)
It made me think about some of you guys have been carried your old boxes for ever and it sure would be great to hear about the stories
that you have about you slot car boxes, there must be some sentimental stories behind that?

Hey Nesta,
And! don't think for a moment Pappy will build another one, let alone for anyone else. :shok: ;)

I've already asked. too much time and set-up to build all the little pieces and assemble, would cost well over a weekly salary.

Nesta, it's two boxes stacked up. That way they balance out when you're carrying them. The way it's made I can change it anytime I want by adding or taking away drawers or shelves.
