Just wanted to bring up a race track that is a great facility in Mooresville, NC. Its Race City Raceway. They have a King (silky smooth), Hillclimb, and a Tri-oval.... Not sure how far away from you guys in Tn it would be, but thinking around 2 hours maybe? Any opportunity for a possible race there? Would seem pretty central for NC,SC,TN,VA racers??

Obsessed is the word the lazy use to describe the dedicated.

The Mid-South USRA Div II had to reschedule their May race and chose Race City Raceway as the new site.

Results;

Highest turnout of the season! :)

Attracted new USRA members! :)

Event went very smooth event, without a hitch! :)

Certainly, of the best facilities in the region! :)

Check out http://www.racecityraceway.com/ - You wont be disappointing! :D

I have been in a conversation with Richie, he has had plenty of good things to say about Race City Raceway. I would love to hear from some of the racers from the area and find out if there is an interest in Retro. I know there are plenty of good racers in that area, but will they support a Retro race? Also, racers from the surrounding area, would you guys come to a Retro race at Mooresville? I know we have about 5-6 guys that will go where ever we go, but I feel we need at least 16 for it to be successful, and for the track owner to want to do it. (Although I haven't talked to the owners) I personally would love to do it, the track looks great, the facitly looks great, and the owners seems to have their finger on the pulse of what works in that area. I plan on visiting the track in about 2 weeks to check it out. If you guys want a race, just give me some feedback, we'll try to make it happen! :)
