He bitches because he has to go through his inventory or a couple hundred FK motors to find the good ones that he wins with. LOL.

Are they using TSR motors in Jail Door GP?

I thought the Falcon 2 was the hot setup?

Congrats to Jay. Whose frame was he using?

Congratulations to Jay and Howie. It sounds like Jail Door is getting more popular. The R4 exhibition race was great and this one sounds even closer with the top four within 4 laps.

He bitches because he has to go through his inventory or a couple hundred FK motors to find the good ones that he wins with.

Jay had a bag full of Falcon 2s at Sonny's (Said he uses them as rental car motors at Speed Zone...

In retrospect, second place finisher Chris Radisich owns two (2) Falcon 2 motors (one for GP and one for the Sports Car class). Both randomly purchased off 'the wall'... bag motors... LOL!

Chris finished one lap down to Jay in GP, and handily won the Sports Car race.

Two motors versus 'hundreds'... ;)

And the point is...

Chassis and driving ability mean much more in Jail Door than motor testing...

But, you are correct that Jay does bitch a bit about the efforts he apparently goes through to obtain 'good' FK motors.

Jay has come full circle... At one time he stated he would 'quit' before he raced FK motors... Now, he likes the hand-out motor races... :shok:

Yes, they do. I won a TSR motor in the Rt 93 raffle and when received, it was in a bag on a card.

TSR and TSRF motors do not all come in individual packages nor do Falcons when they are used as handouts for the large races. I know, I open the container they come in to engrave them.

Noose,

I wasn't saying they ALL come packaged, but they are available in retail packaging. I can post a picture later if you need proof... LOL!

They come both ways, and if in bulk packaging, save the racer a buck at the retail level. It is at the option of the distributors and retailers.

Jay should not bitch, he should call me for a parking-lot motor like all the others do. :laugh2:
