And, Mr. Frank, after they ran the 1:1 DIRT Mods on a road course in NJ, there is justification to run them on slot car road courses as well...
The NASCAR Whelen asphalt mods also just ran the Lime Rock bore course in CT...
Lots of laminated modifies available from numerous sources in both dirt and asphalt styles.
Jeez... you just might get me running the OCC with these babies...

but there on flexi chassis i didnt think you guys liked those
You are correct, Sir.
All of these bodies are used on INLINE FCR chassis on the east coast.
Or, how about scratch built OFFSET inline chassis for the ovals...

Jerry
With two major retro series in Ohio (ORS and P-O), the Penn-Ohio BoD decided to establish some rough territorial guidelines...
P-O will be roughly a triangle encompassing Pittsburgh, Erie, Cleveland and Akron/Canton... That will encompass at present... Washington, Rte. 66, North East, Bristolville, and Rte 93. also, REM and Mark Kitto's new operation in Canton, if they apply for a race.
HMS, Bear's former track and Fat Boy's (if it would have continued) and other Western Ohio tracks are a better fit for the ORS...
We attempted to keep driving distance for P-O competitors within a reasonable distance.

LM Know what your saying Larry . With Brian cox closing and Bears place witch I don't think will ever reopen and no penn-ohio at HMS we have taken a big hit around here. ORS is 2 tracks now don't know if other tracks will be added in the furture but Kit has a nice place and tracks and there is a new place opened in Toledo WFO as well Jerry

Yes another OCC season will be here before we know it. With Route 93 of Akron, Ohio leading the charge, and returning back to OCC will be HMS of Bellevue, Ohio. Also with much delight two new tracks REM Raceway of Mentor, Ohio, and WFO of Toledo, Ohio. This season coming up will be dedicated to William "Bear" Overmyer and J&B Raceways with out them there would have not been a traveling series for Flexi's here in Ohio. When TRRS folded a couple years back. It was Bear that may it his challenge to bring back a Traveling series back to Northern Ohio which is now know as Ohio Challenge Cup. NOW Mr. Frank has taken over the reigns of the OCC a special race in his honor in October will be on the schedule more details to follow. I hope there is no changes this year on the bodies because I already painted my GT1, Group 10, and GTP fleet for this year. This season will be weird not having Bear around great friend, mentor, and track owner. His presence will be greatly missed! But in his honor we will not let his dream die that is why we will RACE ON!
Adios
