I have added a few videos to YouTube that I shot at the Farrout Slot Racing/MSFriends event at the Peterson Auto Museum.

This video features an interview with Keith Tanaka.

Slot Cars at the Peterson Auto Museum - Episode #3

Here's the link (cause it looks so much better BIG!) and I'd love some thumbs up and/or comments on YouTube...:

Hey! Nicely done. I followed the link back to YouTube and caught the other interviews. I wished that a remote mic had been used to enable better voice. I enjoyed the Keith and the Mike/John videos but couldn't clearly understand all the talk.

Yeah I wish I had realized how loud it would be... I would have brought a boom and another guy.

I have about 10-12 more clips to get up in the next few weeks.

If anyone has a burning desire to become Youtube famous, I feel like I would like to put together some interesting interview/tutorial videos... ;)

Part 2 of the John-Mike interview will be up by the weekend...

Lennie, very nice videos.

One correction, my interview video should not label me a Slotcar Legend. That's not a criticism of your video, just my opinion as far as the term "Legend" is concerned.
I believe "Legend" should only be used for racers such as Steube, Cukras, Schmid, Henline, Ursaner, Brady, Morrissey, etc. They are the true legends in slot car racing.
I was just fortunate in those days to race against the legends then and now.

You're modest... The next interview we do, I won't label you as legend... I have a feeling, however, that there are a few others on this board who agree with me agout your legendary status... wink.gif

Hi Keith,

How about "Living Legend" then?!!!

I'll be the first to agree with Lennie!! Excellent video, Lennie!

I think the concept of the word Legends are a bit funny for me no disrespect here, smile.gif I just find the guys that I like are called Legends and I really could care less, for me they are just good guys, and they never bring it up that they used to be special.

The good guys, just have a lot of fun stories to tell and I love fun story's. This "Legends" are just like any one else, and they are having their ups and downs like every one else. smile.gif

I would hate to be a legend, I like it the way it is hanging with the good guys legends or not. :laugh2:
The legends that are not good with this, they are not the cool guys in my book.

I'm glad when I meet some of this guys I did not know better. :laugh2:

Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.

Hey Barney!

As an outsider that occasionally visits BPR I'm amazed at the energy that Keith still has at this point in our lives to give to this sport.

Thank you very much, Keith.

Very good video, thank you! It is so valuable to have video of racers having the time of their lives racing on tracks I've built. ;)

I find it just a little disconcerting that it has received little attention.

Lennie, thank you for taking/producing the videos. I appreciate what you've done as I understand how much work is involved, especially the editing of video is very time consuming.

I stumbled upon one of these videos, done nearly eight years, on Facebook and realized that the full set had never been posted here at Slotblog. So I am remedying that situation now. Episode #1 and #2 will appear in this post and the remaining episodes in the next post.
