It was a warm spring morning when the postman knocked at the door and delivered this beautiful scratchbuilt car (the very first I ever had!) made by our own slot historian, Don Siegel:

Well, after many many sleepless nights, spent thinking what I should do with the clear body: to paint or not to paint it, I finally took the courage with my two hands and called on Signor Jairus to perform his magic.

In the meantime, since I had learned a thing or two about how to help endbells not to burn during the first lap, I got myself a piece of mind and performed a bit of burnproofing on Don's motor, which was an absolute screamer:

You can see that the arm has a pretty good advance and although the AWG does not seem to be monstrous, the motor REALLY screams (OHUIIIII, OHUIIIII, it goes!). The magnets are very strong as they clock at a bit more than 1000 (Plain 16Ds are about 700 and 507 Arcos are 1100)
