Gentlemen,
Those of you who frequented the then glorious OWH's vintage pages a couple of years ago, might have seen this article AND what our own "dgersh" did:

It was a warm spring morning when the postman knocked at the door and delivered this beautiful scratchbuilt car (the very first I ever had!) made by our own slot historian, Don Siegel:

Well, after many many sleepless nights, spent thinking what I should do with the clear body: to paint or not to paint it, I finally took the courage with my two hands and called on Signor Jairus to perform his magic.
Here it is:

In the meantime, since I had learned a thing or two about how to help endbells not to burn during the first lap, I got myself a piece of mind and performed a bit of burnproofing on Don's motor, which was an absolute screamer:

You can see that the arm has a pretty good advance and although the AWG does not seem to be monstrous, the motor REALLY screams (OHUIIIII, OHUIIIII, it goes!). The magnets are very strong as they clock at a bit more than 1000 (Plain 16Ds are about 700 and 507 Arcos are 1100)

Now if I had a nice wooden track instead of a bloody plastic track . . .

And what body would be the right one?
Can't you see the picture? It's exactly the same as Floyd's, except it hasn't been cut so low!

Amen, Brother,

The Visually Korrect European Police say it's the correct body - and it's the only one I had and it's a real 2F, so there!

I just couldn't cut it down as low as Mr. Manley - I'm from Chicago, where we just don't do that kinda thing.

Got that motor in a batch back at the beginning of eBay - all corroded motors and chassis, but very typical stuff from the period, and the motors were well done!

Edo,
You had a cut-down Chappy that I painted last year! It was painted orange with a black stripe. I was supprised you wanted it orange because of the article in MCR but . . . you're the boss!

I guess Floyd Manly used a Dynamic "Handling" Chap 2F for the MC&S article, very flat and very wide.
I'm not sure the Edo/Don version is a Dynamic "Handling". It appears to be somewhat bulkier and more rounded in the roof line, and also has a small bulb (mirror?) above the wind screen.
Subtle details that makes a difference to a "Visually-Korrekt Pawlice" . . .

The air intakes on the handling body are flatter and more oval also. But
still a cool piece, Edo! I bought a Cuc chassis with American mags and
a cut-down Chappy body like this on it off eBay last year. I was surprised
Edo didn't bid against me!? Probably sleeping. 8)

Edo,

You mean this one?

That is a Mini Dream Mini B repop which will be used on this Mini B original chassis:
