8) I am going to be in Ft Lauderdale on business for the next two weeks. Does anyone know of any raceways in the south Florida area?
Thanks,

Sadly, there are no longer any tracks in South Florida.

Florida's East Coast
Jacksonville - Slot Car Speedway & Hobbies - 153' Olgivie Hillclimb
Holly Hill (Daytona Beach) - The Race Place - Replica of Daytona International Speedway that can be ran as a tri-oval or use the infield road course.

Florida's West Coast
Crystal River - Dave's Motorsports - 157' Hillclimb
Hudson - Lightning Raceway & Hobby - King Cobra (reversed running direction)
Riverview - John's Slot Car Garage - 190' Hillclimib and a Dapron Blue King (under renovation)

8) Thanks for the info. Now I won't have to search the phone book when I get there.
Guess it's a strike out!!

Wel, you can do what I did last week in Fort Lauderdale . . . just hang and drink at the famous Elbo Room on the strip on AIA. Always live entertainment and interesting clientele day and night. Seems that Miller Lite is the big seller in Fort Lauderdale.

Of course then there is Solid Gold and Pure Platinum.
