Summing up from my view

First and foremost, thanks to Mike and Jackie Swiss for being wonderful hosts and friends. That alone made for a great weekend.
To everyone that came to enjoy some fantastic racing. There were great "battles" out there in all the mains - well except that Can-Am A main where Howie dusted everyone. By Sano XI I might make an A Main on that flat track. Hey at least I made two Bs. Woo-hoo! Howie, you "rocked".
To Jay Kisling and Wes P for getting my stuff there and lugging it back for me. Made for a normal event without trying to get stuff packed in odd ways to get it on the plane. Jay, you had a heck of weekend bud and three podiums was excellent! Wes... dude... you drove a great JK Spec race and congrats on the podium finish!
To everyone for doing a really good job coming to tech. Yeah, there were a few spoilers trimmed, a bit of tape added to the sides of a few bodies after I after I had to whip out the "Spirit Gauge", and some clearance failures but all of these were very few and it made for a much smoother running of everything.
To my tech sidekick Bill Fulmer a huge load of thanks for taking all of the pics as the cars passed through tech.
It was great to meet many more folks from Slotblog that came and to see folks again after a year. Fun conversations were the norm for sure.
To the Boogie Man and Jobiwan, two great painters that I got to chat with about our little niche in this hobby. Of course, chatting with Jack Beers about painting is an ongoing conversation every time we get together.
To Terry Watson, for always making any race I am in with him one heck of a good one. Congrats on the podium, too! It was also fantastic to race with Mac again who, having not raced in over a year, did one heck of a job in the JK Spec and GTC race.
To Tex, for his amazing racing on that flat track. He was the man for sure. Enjoyed spending time with him over the weekend.
To a good friend, Chuck Gambo. Man, you don't know how good it felt to beat him on the King after he slaughtered us - me on that flat track!
To the guys in the C Main of the GTC coupe race for one of the most amazing crashes in slot car history. I don't know if guys saw it on the video stream, but seven cars wiped out in front of my marshaling spot on the straightaway and it was like watching in slow motion as cars were slip-siding sideways, some tumbling, some flipping, and then hearing Rob Hanson say, as he saw his car still in the slot coming out of the bank "How the hell did I get through that?" It was a topic of conversation for sure.
To Ron And Rande... what a team. Lots of fun to be around of course. Ron, thanks for the help, too.
Pablo... what I can say about that F1 race. Man, if you had that car run like that in the Victory Contest you would have won hands down. Great racing with you, bud.
A congrats to all the podium winners in every main. You are all winners!
Thanks to all that voted for my bodies in concours. I won five out six and that was soooo cool.
And finally, congrats to the winners of the raffles (with the numbers picked by Jackie Swiss) to these folks who have won one of my painted bodies:
Kirk Galasso - GTC
Paul "Pablo " Wolcott - F1
Bill Fulmer - Can-Am
Whew... what a weekend!

What a great race we had on black and purple in the B Main. I will be seeing more of you and the rest of the Retro East guys in the near future.
I had a great time at the Sano. Looking forward to next year's race.
