While I could bore all of you with a list of everyone I could thank for this years Sano... I won't as most have already been thanked and it would just be a repeat.
But I had a great Sano due to the fact of being there and racing with and against lots of great and good friends.
Getting to meet new people is always the best just as seeing all of the regulars as well.
It was great to meet Ken Bryan, John Miller, Jobiwan, and AJ Hoyt for the first time.
It was just a great to see some old faces from the past getting involved in retro racing... Nelson Swanberg, William "Mac" McPherson, Jerry and Jeremy Wyant... Boogie Man and Boogie Boy, Doug Demski, and Forest.
It's great to see the guys you only see once or twice a year... The Evansville Indiana Gang, Pablo, and Tex.
It's always good to see everyone else at another race out of the many we do over a year's time and year to year.
Mike Iles provided all of us who was still at the raceway lots of great pizza on a late Saturday nite... classy move, Mike, and thanks!!!
There was lots of close and competitive racing in all of the races throughout each and every main. There was heartbreak and there was agony of defeat as well as crowning many Champions.
Sano Dave was greatly missed and hope he gets back racing ASAP with all of us.
Tons of stories shared, lots of memories made and most importantly... we all made more slot car racing history.
Thanks to all of those who took the time and money to come and have fun at this years Sano race... it's greatly appreciated by everyone who was there. Like a big family get-together... some Jerry Springer moments here and there, but overall... a great time had by all. Very few heated moments and most of those came in the heat of battle... everyone left as the good friends as we all are.
It's fun to attend these races with all of you and my pleasure to race with you guys... I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.
So thanks one more time to Mike and Jackie Swiss, Noose, Bill Fulmer, the rest of the IRRA BoD Members, the regional IRRA directors, Ray Price.
Special thanks to my long-time racing buddy and friend Jay Kisling for pushing me hard and racing me harder on the track.
Congrats to Chuck Gambo on all of his great finishes... it's been a long time over the years racing with Chuck... a great competitor.
Howie... what can I say... a great drive in the Can-Am race... good job, my friend.
To Ralph Thorne, Steve Grider, Matt Bruce, Wes Piknus, Terry Watson... you young guns are the up and coming future legends... keep up the good work and effort. You guys are a force to be reckoned with.
Of course to my long-time racing partner Rande Marshall... thanks for all you do... couldn't do it without you.

I also had the greatest slot car racing of my life so far. Sharing a main with you and all other top guys was a lot more than I expected. My goal next year is not only to get again in some A Main, but not to be the dead last on it.
I think I was kind of an underdog in this Sano. My results were certainly higher than I expected.

This was my third Sano, and it just gets better each year. I met a lot of great people, and I feel like I am improving each year, but I have a long way to go. I can't wait for next year.

There are a lot of people who couldn't do it without Rande's help. He never hesitates to help anybody out during the race, from moving chicanes like myself to his and Ron's closest competitors. He is always there to lend a hand. Thanks, Rande.Of course to my long-time racing partner Rande Marshall... thanks for all you do... couldn't do it without you.
