With much regret I will not be attending this weekend's OCC racing event due to a Family Wedding of my nephew.
I will see everyone next month OCC event. This is a tough decision since I'm 2nd in points in GT1B. But you gotta take one for the team once in a while!

I'll be running Group10, I don't have any cars set up for 1/8" axles. Since getting back into the hobby this year I've made a couple of races at J&B with another race there tomorrow night plus about three practice days. I've got the straights down, it's the corners I'm struggling with now.
My goal is that when you hold the finishing order upside down at the end of the day, my name isn't on top.
Thanks again for the welcome,
Frankie

Just wanted to compare the difference in speed.
Roughly .3 or .4 Sec faster with the Falcon and open gearing.
That`s a pretty significant difference for a motor that doesn`t cost as much as the Deathstar.
I haven`t read any complaints about the Flexi GT Cars being too fast for beginners.

Willy- It`s racing and if you can go faster without spending more money, then HELL YES, FASTER IS BETTER!
Besides being faster, the cars handle better and are easier to drive with the little Falcon vs. the heavy 16D.
