It was my first OCC race and what a great time!

First a big thanks out to Kit and Cap for everything, you are great hosts. The track was a blast to drive, food was awesome and the parts counter had everything I needed (except driving talent).

It was fun and a great learning experience to be able to run with a full track of racers. Thanks to the racers for being patient and understanding and sorry to those I nurfed into the weeds.

Thanks to Rob Voska, Jerry Ward, Elmo and Frank at the poo table for spoon feeding me through the process.

See you at REM in December!

The food was great and the Pops were cold!

Finally, got my Cap Henry racing T-shirt to add to my collection. Thanks, Cap! :yahoo:

HMS Speedways & Hobbies Thanks all the racers for a GREAT TIME ! !

Darn if my inablility to get stopped didn't take me out of a podium in GT1-B, Oh well thats racing !

We Thank the racers for all the racing, and the support of the store, if it weren't for people like you we wouldn't be able to do this.

Last but not least how many of you fell for the change on the floor in front of the pop machine ?

Kit

I read the rules but they say 2008-2009.
Just wanted to make sure they had not been updated.
I was informed that USRA allows bearings in the can.
Thank you for the friendly reply.

NO PROBLEM, Mike.... We might be making some changes for next season though.
NOT SURE AT THIS TIME so we will go by the rules that are set in stone, even know they are a little old, but they work GREAT..
Hope to see ya at R E M next month, or even at RT 93 for some retros coming up in a couple of weeks

A big thanks to everyone at HMS, I had a ball and Frank E. and I had a fun race the final lanes of GTP. I just viewed the Mentor track and I have to say I really wish I didn't live here in NC just so I could race with you guys in Ohio, that track looks fast! Thanks to Bill Bender for building a sweet motor and letting me break it in for you, not a bad result with a caveman .518 coupled with a resistor controller. Big thanks to Kit for letting me break in a soldering iron after my tip had issues and was inoperative. Can't wait to get back to do some more racing up north. Thanks to all again.
