The aim was to build a car for club racing, not a concours winner :-)
The body was painted white many months ago, and since my paint booth was occupied with other stuff I decided to hand paint the body and add some home made Lucky Strike decals.
I have made several cars in this livery since my first Porsche 917 based on the car entered by David Piper in South Africa in 1971, but I like the livery, so here it is:
The chassis is home made from 1,5 mm brass and 1,0 mm Carbon and is FAST. It made 2 track records and won a club race on the first outing :-)

The car is not a beauty queen, but looks good on the track and drive well, so what more could you wish :-) - it will be tested at a regional race tomorrow
