I'm going to do a step by step on this kit showing some techniques and secrets. It will be very detailed so bear with me over time. Yes, time. This will take some time but I will update has I go along. If you find there are better ideas on how to do some of what I show then please post these ideas. In the end you should have a good idea on how I paint my cars and get a smooth mirror finish.
Getting back to the quality of the kit. Everything fits real well and the quality of the casting is beautiful. This helps and saves time with the prep work. I'm really looking forward to doing this car and I hope you enjoy the step-by-step and the end result.

I went with a simple look rather than the historical version. I will do the historical version next. I just wanted to see the Lola without the distractions. Amazing lines and a beautiful car.

He has done about 20 kits up to now, and his love goes to Can-Am. So McLaren M8B, Ferrari 612, Honker, Lola T70 spider, Porsche 917 PA, and others came out of his factory, mostly sold out shortly after their introduction. Most of the customers are building outstanding slot models.
If you want to have a look, click HERE and try to find your way through his homepage.

As scrapbuilder1 said, it takes a real craftsman to assemble one to this level.
I'm sure Karl would also be proud of what you have done to one of his baby's.
