BARN BURNERS SLOT CAR CLUB
A new club in Williamsburg is looking for racers to join in the fun and excitement of races from Trans-Am, Can-Am, Formula 1, NASCAR, and IMSA in 1/32 scale.
Classes to be run:
Trans-Am (1966-73), Can-Am (1964-1974), Classic F1 ('50s), Formula 1 ('70s), IMSA GT (1974-1984), Classic NASCAR (1963-1980), Modern NASCAR (1981-present), Sport Prototype (1966-1990), and Indy (1980-present).
The aim of the club is to race out of the box racers with little modifications, keeping cost low and racing close.
At present we have a 56’ plastic road course, a soon to be finished 50’ wood oval, and a 72’ wood road course. Races are held once a month on Saturday.
New season starts January 22, 2011.
