Hi is it possible too mod my old parma turbo controller ?
problem is that its too much ON/OFF when i drive its working q good for box 12 driving and g27 light but its a hell to start in glue and in some turns if am too hot the car can jump out when i pull full power
my idea was to change the resistor to a bigger one to day i hawe 1 or 1,5 ohm ...so is the handel softer with like a 3 or 4 ohm resistor ?
i whant it too be smoother when i start and softer when i pull full speed...the best would be some delay like 0,1 sek before the handel gives full power when i hit the gas...or is it time too give this old one some rest ...
found this on the net...

has sombody builld this one ?
for the buck it seams good if it works...

This would be a good place to start.

They have a conversion kit to modify your Parma Turbo into an adjustable electronic controller.
I've built many conversions and full kits when I owned my raceway.

I would get a Parma 3 or 4 ohm Resistor and just replace it.
Even thou I have two Difalco's I use a parma 3 ohm with the FCR hard bodies and I use a parma 7 ohm for the Jail door cars.

and if you can do the Fleming hinge it is like silk.

If about 80.00 is not too much you may want to get a Difalco module. The DD229 should be just what you need.

Group 12 and hotter motors REQUIRE more WATTAGE from your controller than just a turbo resistor can provide. They are really only rated less that 30 watts. You can use 100 watts or more. Only the external resistor/bridge rectifier option exist or the complete change over to a transistor system such as the DiFalco/3rdEye/Ruddock style or others similar from Europe.
I would keep your controller (as is) for drag racing, or change the resistor to a 3 or 4 ohm for low end motors such as 16D or falcon/retro classes.
