Iam new to Wing Cars, so iam wondering what chassis should i go with for this track:
http://slotblog.net/...=0

They are racing Box 12 and $100 Wing Cars. I have no idea if a shorter or longer chassis should be used.

Any help would be appreciated!

You could try a Koford M500A or a Koford M503. If you prefer to go with Slick 7 you could try the S7-243E. These are longer cars.

Thanks for the reply Scott. Iam looking around and iam now wondering what differnt between a Beuf Express chassis (M500), and a Superspeedway Beuf Express (M511B). They are both 4.610 Long. And they look the same from the pictures. Makes me wonder.

Blake,

I like the longer chassis for racing G7 at Buena Park Raceway. I was top qualifier, 1.443, at the Boola Bash at BPR last December with the longer chassis. In fact, Buef told me that his World Record, 1.404, is with the longer chassis. I think that using the longer chassis is easier to drive in the race. I might try the short chassis in the future, but I believe that the older you get your driving tends to go downhill.

Blake, a longer car will make your life so much easier on a track like that.

I would use a Koford spec 15 chassis for both classes. It is a longer chassis with thin rails so it should have enough bite for that track.

hi as am told a shorter chassie runs faster in a small and cornerd track...but its more jummpy nervus to drive
but it out preforms a longer chassi if its werry much corner ...i think that track is cuite much curved ..more than the track we drive on

but best is too hawe both chassies long ones and short ones and test drive diffrent cars at the track you will race on
If cars were built to fly... they will have wings...

What's important is that it's consistent and stays in the slot. Longer chassis are more forgiving.

Longer on non-superspeedways is better.

On that track i would run a Koford Chassis that is a longer chassis with thin rails .. longer is easier to drive and the thinner rails will give you pretty good bite on that kind of track
